GE experiments with color and affordability

GE is experimenting with color and affordability. The company is producing refrigerators that involve a pop of color, including cupcake blue and red pepper. The colors, determined by an online consumer poll, will be available on the Artistry refrigerator and available in limited quantities at three retailers in the U.S. Response to the blue and red hues will determine whether GE will go into full-scale production to offer the new colors on a national scale. The refrigerators are available at the Nebraska Furniture Mart, RC Willey and Appliance Factory in limited quantities. The suggested retail price for either color refrigerator is $1,500.
